With a strong emphasis on design excellence, commercial discipline, and long-term value creation, my client manages projects from site acquisition through to delivery and handover.

The Role

My client is seeking an experienced Development Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple development projects. This role will play a critical part in driving feasibility outcomes, managing consultants, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects through the full development lifecycle: acquisition support, feasibility, DA, design, construction, and settlement
  • Prepare and maintain detailed development feasibilities, cash flows, and financial reports
  • Coordinate and manage external consultants including planners, architects, engineers, builders, and legal teams
  • Lead the DA and approvals process with councils and relevant authorities
  • Work closely with construction teams to ensure design intent, budget, and program are achieved
  • Identify and manage project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost controls
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on program, budget, risks, and milestones
  • Support site acquisitions through due diligence and feasibility analysis
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, planning, and regulatory requirements
About You
  • Background in property development, construction, project management, or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of feasibility modelling, development finance, and project controls
  • Demonstrated experience managing consultants and stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
  • Passionate individual who takes pride in their work
Qualifications
  • Degree in Property, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
  • Tertiary qualifications in Property or Finance highly regarded
