About the Role
As a Site Manager/2IC - Blade Replacements, you will lead and manage on-site wind turbine blade replacement activities. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with technical, regulatory, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations for wind turbine blade replacements, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Plan, coordinate, and manage site teams, subcontractors, and equipment to meet project timelines
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets, reporting any deviations to stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as required
- Ensure all work aligns with Australian standards, technical specifications, and company procedures
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, HSE personnel, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication
- Lead toolbox talks, site briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor in the wind farm industry
- Previous experience managing wind turbine blade replacements or similar turbine servicing projects highly regarded
- Strong understanding of site operations, project scheduling, and risk management
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and work procedures
- Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
- Knowledge of wind turbine installation or large-scale construction projects is advantageous
