About the Role
 
As a Site Manager/2IC - Blade Replacements, you will lead and manage on-site wind turbine blade replacement activities. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with technical, regulatory, and client requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily site operations for wind turbine blade replacements, ensuring safety and efficiency
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage site teams, subcontractors, and equipment to meet project timelines
  • Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets, reporting any deviations to stakeholders
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as required
  • Ensure all work aligns with Australian standards, technical specifications, and company procedures
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, HSE personnel, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication
  • Lead toolbox talks, site briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives
 
About You
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor in the wind farm industry
  • Previous experience managing wind turbine blade replacements or similar turbine servicing projects highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of site operations, project scheduling, and risk management
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and work procedures
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
  • Knowledge of wind turbine installation or large-scale construction projects is advantageous
