The Opportunity Join a premier Tier 2 Electrical Contractor delivering high-spec commercial fit-outs and refurbishments across the Sydney CBD and Greater Sydney. We are looking for a hands-on Leading Hand who is ready to step up, run a crew of 5–10, and deliver some of Sydney’s most iconic office and retail spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Electricians and Apprentices, ensuring productivity and high morale.
• Technical Execution: Interpret site plans, schematics, and technical drawings to coordinate rough-ins, fit-offs, and commissioning.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce SWMS and OH&S protocols. Conduct daily toolboxes and ensure all work meets AS/NZS 3000 standards.
• Materials Management: Coordinate material orders and deliveries to prevent site downtime.
• Reporting: Provide daily progress updates to the Site Manager/Project Manager and assist in identifying potential variations.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and "snagging" to ensure zero-defect handovers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Supervisor License (preferred) or Contractor License.
• White Card and relevant high-risk licenses (EWP, etc.).
• Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman on Sydney-based Tier 1 or Tier 2 projects.
• Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000:2018 (Wiring Rules).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage sub-contractors and stakeholders.
