We’re looking for a Project Manager who has progressed through the engineering ranks — from site engineer to project engineer — and is ready to lead projects with a hands-on approach.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead delivery of medium-sized civil projects including bridges, stormwater, subdivisions, and other infrastructure works.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Coordinate multi-discipline teams (civil, structural, and other specialist interfaces).
- Support pre-construction activities such as planning, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
- Assist with tenders, commercial documentation, and progress claims.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Mininum 5 years experience as an engineer on civil construction projects in Australia
- Comfortable managing both civil and structural scopes.
- Experience in pre-construction, tender support, and progress claims.
- Experience working for a similar-sized contractor.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Rail experience is a bonus, but not essential.
