The Opportunity
An established quarry operator is seeking an SSE-qualified Quarry Manager to lead multiple quarry operations with a strong focus on crusher & screener performance, production targets, and safety leadership.
This role suits an experienced Quarry Manager or Senior Supervisor ready to step into a high-accountability position.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Statutory Supervisor (SSE) across multiple quarry sites
- Manage day-to-day operations, production output, and site performance
- Oversee and optimise crushing & screening operations (fixed & mobile plant)
- Lead, develop, and manage site teams (up to 20 personnel)
- Implement and maintain safety systems, risk management, and compliance
- Ensure operations meet legislative, environmental, and company standards
- Drive continuous improvement in production, uptime, and cost control
- SSE Qualification – essential or strongly preferred
- Proven experience managing quarry or mining operations
- Strong background with crushers & screeners (critical requirement)
- Experience managing multiple sites
- Demonstrated safety leadership and system-based safety management
- Strong production, planning, and people management skills
