About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the day-shift maintenance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing reliability, safety, and performance of production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on production and packaging machinery
- Responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- PLC fault finding (Siemens/Allen Bradley highly regarded)
- Working with conveyors, VSDs, motors, sensors, and control systems
- Completing maintenance documentation and CMMS entries
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with food safety, GMP, and WHS standards
- Assisting with continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- NSW Electrical Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in food, beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing environments
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work autonomously on day shift
- Safety-focused with a proactive attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- $55 per hour base rate
