Duties
- Install and terminate DC/AC cabling for BESS units
- Perform wiring, grounding, and conduit runs per project specs
- Test and troubleshoot battery racks, PCS, and BMS connections
- Support commissioning of BESS components and power stations
- Conduct QA/QC checks on electrical installations
- Verify system grounding and bonding compliance
- Assist with energization and functional testing
- Follow safety protocols and LOTO procedures
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and site plans
- Coordinate with site leads and other trades as needed
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Electrical trade qualification
- Any industrial electrical sector experience accepted
- Able to work away on projects
- Current driving license
- Solar Farm & BESS experience (preferable)
- Willing to work long hours
- Able to pass medical
Details
- WA based project daily flights from Perth
- $60+ full penalties, Camp Accommodation & meals
- 2/1 working rotation from any state with minimum 10+ hours per day
