The Role As a Leading Hand / Foreman, you’ll play a key hands-on role delivering premium residential projects while building the skills required to step into senior leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and motivating site teams to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently
  • Managing day-to-day site operations, programs, and budgets
  • Coordinating trades, apprentices, suppliers, and material deliveries
  • Maintaining exceptional build quality and WHS standards
  • Tracking progress, managing defects, and reporting to the Project Manager
  • Liaising confidently with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Attending site meetings and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Representing the builder professionally and positively on every site
Career Progression – A Real Path Forward This is not just a Foreman role. The business is actively looking to develop the right person into a Construction Manager within 12–24 months, where you will:
  • Oversee up to four residential projects simultaneously
  • Lead and mentor multiple Foremen across sites
  • Take on greater responsibility for program, quality, and delivery
  • Become a key part of the senior leadership team
What We’re Looking For
  • Certificate IV in Carpentry – ESSENTIAL
  • High-end residential construction experience – ESSENTIAL
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman on projects $1M+
  • A natural leader with a positive, energetic attitude
  • Strong communication and people-management skills
  • Solid understanding of WHS, site administration, budgets, and timelines
  • Someone motivated to grow into a senior leadership role

Salary $110,000 – $120,000 + Super
