You’ll manage a diverse portfolio while acting as a trusted advisor to committees, leading meetings independently, and supporting the development of junior team members. The role balances operational excellence with strategic thinking and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential and mixed-use strata schemes, including large and complex buildings
- Independently chair and run AGMs, EGMs, and committee meetings
- Provide strategic advice to committees on compliance, governance, maintenance planning, and risk
- Oversee budgets, levy setting, and financial performance across schemes
- Handle escalated disputes, by-law breaches, and complex matters with professionalism
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, committees, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Mentor and support less experienced strata managers through informal coaching and leadership
- Ensure compliance with relevant strata legislation, agreements, and internal processes
- 4–8+ years’ experience in strata management
- Current Class 2 Strata Licence (Class 1 highly regarded or willingness to obtain)
- Proven experience managing schemes of varying sizes, including large and complex portfolios
- Strong working knowledge of strata legislation and managing agency agreements
- Confident communicator with strong meeting facilitation skills
- Financially astute with experience managing budgets and forecasting
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
