This is a leadership-focused role suited to a confident strata professional who enjoys autonomy, complex schemes, and mentoring others.

You’ll manage a diverse portfolio while acting as a trusted advisor to committees, leading meetings independently, and supporting the development of junior team members. The role balances operational excellence with strategic thinking and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of residential and mixed-use strata schemes, including large and complex buildings
  • Independently chair and run AGMs, EGMs, and committee meetings
  • Provide strategic advice to committees on compliance, governance, maintenance planning, and risk
  • Oversee budgets, levy setting, and financial performance across schemes
  • Handle escalated disputes, by-law breaches, and complex matters with professionalism
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, committees, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Mentor and support less experienced strata managers through informal coaching and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with relevant strata legislation, agreements, and internal processes
Required Experience 
  • 4–8+ years’ experience in strata management
  • Current Class 2 Strata Licence (Class 1 highly regarded or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven experience managing schemes of varying sizes, including large and complex portfolios
  • Strong working knowledge of strata legislation and managing agency agreements
  • Confident communicator with strong meeting facilitation skills
  • Financially astute with experience managing budgets and forecasting
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
  • Natural leader who enjoys supporting and guiding others
