A well-established commercial construction contractor based in North West Sydney specialising in design and construction, fit out, and refurbishment projects across the greater Sydney region. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality outcomes across industrial, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Contracts Administrator you will play a critical role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of large, complex industrial and commercial projects ranging from  $10M - $50M. 

You will be responsible for overseeing procurement, contracts administration, and financial management, ensuring projects are delivered profitably, compliantly, and to the highest standards.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of subcontractor and supplier contracts for large scale new build projects
  • Oversee procurement activities including trade package preparation, tender reviews, and contract awards
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, ensuring alignment with financial targets
  • Manage and review progress claims, variations, and payment schedules in line with contractual obligations
  • Provide commercial and contractual advice to project managers
  • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, building codes, and workplace health and safety legislation
  • Mentor and support junior contracts administrators to build capability
What We Are Looking For
  • 5-10 years of experience in contracts administration or commercial management within construction, ideally on large scale new build projects
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of contracts, procurement processes, and commercial management principles
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in forecasting, cost control, and reporting
  • Proficiency in Cheopps or JobPac
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring or guiding junior staff
