Join a leading national Plant hire & Civil company supplying construction, and civil projects. We’re on the hunt for a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair a fleet of high-performance Plant, Earth moving, Trucks & Trailers.
You'll be responsible for servicing and repairs in the workshop and out on-site, keeping downtime to a minimum and ensuring equipment is compliant, safe, and ready to go.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, inspect, and repair a range of Plant, Earth moving, Trucks & Trailers.
- Diagnose faults in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Respond to field breakdowns and emergency call-outs as needed
- Carry out pre-hire inspections and post-job assessments
- Work with the service team to plan jobs and order parts
- Ensure all repairs meet compliance, safety, and OEM standards
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle / Plant Mechanic)
- 3+ years experience working on Plant Equipment or Heavy Trucks
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Driver’s Licence – Essential
- Ability to work autonomously and travel to client sites when required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical
