What you’ll be doing
- Manage and deliver your own portfolio of ecological and biodiversity projects.
- Lead field assessments and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
- Prepare high-quality proposals, technical reports, BDARs, and related biodiversity assessments.
- Provide clear guidance to clients on NSW environmental legislation and approval pathways.
- Contribute to the development of innovative ecological survey methods and best practice.
- Ideally BAM Accredited, or working towards accreditation.
- Candidates who have delivered BDARs and are committed to gaining accreditation are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong flora and/or fauna identification skills, with a solid understanding of NSW biodiversity regulations.
- Demonstrated experience preparing ecological assessments and navigating regulatory approvals.
- Skilled in vegetation integrity plots, BDAR preparation, and biodiversity impact assessment.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Relevant degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a similar discipline.
