A leading New Zealand crane, construction and heavy-lift contractor is looking for an experienced Engineering & Contracts Manager to step into a senior leadership role. This position will suit someone who enjoys a mix of business development, client management, engineering oversight, and end-to-end project delivery.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing tenders, contract negotiations and commercial terms for major projects
• Leading project delivery across wind-farm, heavy-lift and infrastructure installations
• Building and maintaining client relationships, driving repeat business and growth
• Identifying and securing new project opportunities in the wind and renewables sector
• Providing engineering input and coordinating with internal technical teams
• Supporting senior leadership with strategy, planning and resource allocation

About You

• Background in wind energy, heavy cranes, heavy-lift, transport, construction, or civil infrastructure
• Strong experience in contracts management, negotiation and commercial project delivery
• Confident managing complex, high-risk projects and multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication, leadership skills and a proactive approach to client management
• Able to be based in Christchurch — relocation support available for the right person
