The Role Seeking an experienced and self-sufficient Flood & Stormwater Engineer/Modeller to take the lead on flood modelling across the business. Experience Strong consultancy experience (essential) High proficiency in TUFLOW (primary requirement) 5+ years’ experience in flood or stormwater modelling Ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior engineers/modellers would be prioritised but is not essential. Strong written & verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Strong team orientation and professional work ethic
Your Role Lead and grow the flood & stormwater modelling function across the business Deliver high-quality TUFLOW modelling, technical reporting, and consultancy-level outputs Mentor junior and intermediate staff, supporting capability development Work autonomously on modelling projects, including scoping, delivering, and presenting outcomes Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and project managers on multidisciplinary projects Represent the flood modelling team in discussions with internal teams and clients Help shape future modelling processes, tools, and workflows as the capability expands
