About the Role:
This newly created position offers full ownership of the HSEQ function. You’ll be responsible for developing a practical, fit for purpose HSEQ system, building on the basic framework currently in place and shaping it into a robust and scalable program. This is a hands on role working closely with leadership, field teams and service technicians to embed a strong safety culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures and systems.
- Build on existing foundations to create a tailored, compliant HSEQ framework.
- Drive safety culture and engagement across sites, workshops and office environments.
- Lead incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
- Oversee risk assessments, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, standards and industry requirements.
- Provide coaching, training and support to operational teams.
- Manage quality assurance processes and accreditation requirements.
- 5+ years in an HSEQ
- Previous experience in an leadership role within a related industry
- Diploma in WHS or OHS
- Proven capability in developing or improving safety systems and processes.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Hands-on, proactive and solutions-driven approach.
- Relevant WHS qualifications highly regarded.
