We’re working with a leading Sydney-based commercial fit‑out builder delivering end-to-end design + build solutions for workplaces, education, healthcare, and retail projects.
You’ll be a key commercial support for multiple fit‑out projects (typically $1‑5M), working closely with Project Managers and subcontractors to keep contracts and costs on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement of subcontractors and trade packages
- Managing contract variations (scope changes, extras)
- Drafting and reviewing scopes of work
- Handling progress claims, variations, and subcontractor claims
- Negotiating with subcontractors to ensure commercial outcomes
- Experience as a Contracts Administrator (preferably in commercial construction or fit‑out)
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent negotiation, documentation, and communication skills
- Familiarity with subcontractor tendering, claims, and contract administration
- Immediate start for the right person
