The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day accounting operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, working in a
supportive team where your contribution will be valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, coding, and supplier reconciliations
• Assist with weekly payment runs and month-end reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Support the Finance Manager with journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance
• Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve queries
• Assist with other ad hoc accounting duties as required

About You:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Assistant Accountant role (construction or project-based industries highly regarded)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
• Intermediate Excel skills and experience with accounting software, Jobpace is highly desireable however MYOB, Xero, or similar is acceoptable. 
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
