ACRWORLD are proud to be partnering with an award-winning international architecture firm to recruit an experienced and people-focused HR Advisor for their Sydney studio. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a globally respected creative practice known for its innovative projects, collaborative culture, and commitment to design excellence.

The Opportunity
As the Studio HR Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day people operations of the Sydney studio while partnering with all departments & teams. You'll act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing practical and strategic HR guidance to ensure a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

You'll be involved in all aspects of the HR function, from recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations through to talent development, engagement, and compliance. This role will suit an HR professional who thrives in creative, fast-paced environments and enjoys being hands-on while contributing to broader strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with studio and regional leadership to deliver high-quality HR advice and operational support.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development.
  • Support the implementation of global people initiatives within the local studio context.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with Australian legislation and company policy.
  • Collaborate with global HR, payroll, and talent teams to streamline processes and share best practice.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, employee wellbeing initiatives, and studio culture activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting.
  • Support to People & Culture Director & other company Directors with adhoc duties 
About You
We're seeking a confident, approachable, and proactive HR professional with a passion for people and culture.

You will ideally bring:
  • 3-5+ years' experience in a HR Advisor or Generalist role within architecture, design-led environment or construction.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment law and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (Workday or similar) and proficiency across Microsoft 365.
  • A genuine interest in supporting creative professionals and fostering an inclusive studio culture.
