About the Role:

They are seeking a Safety Advisor to join the team and support across 3 - 4  projects in the eastern suburbs. This is a hands-on role that provides the opportunity to make a real impact on safety culture, compliance, and day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor, and maintain safety management systems across multiple home build sites.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with WHS legislation.
• Provide practical safety guidance and advice to site teams, subcontractors, and management.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, providing clear recommendations for corrective actions.
• Promote and embed a strong safety culture across all sites.
• Support the preparation of safety reports and documentation for management and regulatory purposes.

To be successful:

• Cert IV in WHS or higher (Diploma in WHS is desirable)
• Proven experience in construction safety or a similar WHS role
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with site teams and subcontractors
• Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments effectively
• A proactive, hands-on approach to promoting a positive safety culture
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple sites/projects
