This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal Consultant to join a reputable consultancy and deliver complex EPA Environmental Audit projects, landfill assessments, and Phase 1 & Phase 2 (PSI/DSI) investigations across a variety of sites.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and deliver EPA Environmental Audit projects and comprehensive landfill assessment programs.
- Manage Phase 1 & Phase 2 (PSI/DSI) contaminated land investigations across diverse site types (residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure).
- Provide clients with strategic technical advice and ensure regulatory compliance and best-practice outcomes.
- Work closely with clients, regulators and internal specialist teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members (especially at Principal level).
- (For Principal) Contribute to business development activities, client relationship management and planning for growth.
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
- Proven experience in contaminated land investigations, landfill assessment and/or environmental auditing (ideally in Victoria or comparable jurisdictions).
- Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks (EPA audits, contaminated sites, landfill risk exposure).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills — able to interact confidently with clients, regulators and internal teams.
- For Principal level: demonstrable track record in leading projects, managing clients, mentoring staff and contributing to business growth.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
