We are currently recruiting a Contract Administrator / Senior Contract Administrator to join a well-established Company. The business delivers high-quality construction works across a variety of sectors, including education, health, aged care, and community facilities. Your new role
As a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator, you will join the project team, working closely with the Project Manager and other key team members to manage contract and financial operations throughout the project lifecycle. Projects are typically complex builds or staged works in live environments, ranging in value, providing exposure to a fast-paced, structured environment with clear responsibilities and career progression opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare and manage subcontractor procurement, scopes, and letting
- Negotiate and finalise contracts and supplier agreements
- Track project costs and assist with monthly financial reporting
- Administer variations, progress claims, and payment schedules
- Liaise with consultants, engineers, and key stakeholders
- Contribute to overall program delivery with a focus on cost, compliance, and timeframes
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator
- Previous experience on government, institutional, or education-sector projects preferred
- Strong understanding of contract administration, cost control, and procurement
- Familiarity with Aconex, Procore, or other industry-standard systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
