About the Role
As the Bid & Proposal Manager, you’ll lead the preparation and coordination of high-quality proposals for large-scale renewable and energy storage projects. Working closely with commercial, technical, and sales teams, you’ll play a key role in winning new business across Australia’s rapidly expanding clean energy market.
The role has flexibility to be based in Melbourne or Sydney.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end bid and proposal process for renewable and BESS projects.
- Coordinate inputs from engineering, legal, finance, and sales teams.
- Develop clear, competitive, and compliant tender submissions.
- Support sales teams with pricing, risk assessment, and contract documentation.
- Maintain bid templates, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency.
- Track tender opportunities and industry developments.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- 5–10 years’ experience in bid management or proposals within energy or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy or BESS project delivery models.
- Excellent organisational, writing, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and commercially astute.
