About the Role
This role will lead the growth of the company’s Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) business in Australia — identifying opportunities, managing key relationships, and securing contracts for large-scale and C&I storage projects.
This role has flexibility to be based in Melbourne or Sydney
Responsibilities
- Drive business development and end-to-end sales of BESS projects across Australia.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, utilities, and energy users.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with regional growth targets.
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams on proposals and negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, policies, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline (MBA desirable).
- 8–10 years’ experience in energy sector sales or business development.
- Proven record closing multi-million-dollar renewable or BESS projects in Australia.
- Strong understanding of the Australian energy market and NEM framework.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
