Our client is a well-known and respected freight forwarder with a solid reputation and a friendly, welcoming culture. They’re growing steadily and now have an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join their Transport team at their Welshpool branch.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be in the middle of the day-to-day action - coordinating deliveries, keeping customers updated, and working closely with drivers and suppliers to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Your day-to-day:
- Coordinating FCL and LCL deliveries across Perth metro and regional WA
- Providing great customer service - regular updates, quick problem-solving, and clear communication
- Working with carriers and third-parties to line up schedules and resolve any delivery issues
- Preparing quotes, invoices, and maintaining accurate job files
- Updating client records and ensuring all documentation is current and compliant
- Supporting the wider team with general admin and continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous experience in transport or freight forwarding (essential)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Comfortable juggling priorities in a busy environment
- Proficient with CargoWise (essential) & MS Office products
