Join a highly respected consultancy working on renewable energy projects across APAC. 
  
About the Role

You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects, providing modelling and technical expertise for grid-connected and off-grid solar and BESS systems. The role will be a combination of power systems studies and feasibility studies/technical due diligence. There is flexibility to WFH across the Eastern Seaboard (depending on level of experience) and part time options would be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting load flow and dynamic studies using PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, and Sincal.
  • Reviewing connection studies and infrastructure to identify project risks and opportunities.
  • Performing grid connection assessments in accordance with NER Chapter 5A requirements.
  • Advising utilities and government clients on grid upgrades for renewable integration.
  • Supporting proposals, feasibility studies, and technical due diligence assignments.
  • Liaising with equipment OEMs, DNSPs, and software providers.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering
  • Experience with PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, or Sincal.
  • Ideally capabilities in load flow, dynamic/transient, protection, and power quality studies.
  • Experience with Australian NSPs and OEMs.
  • Python scripting for automation and power system analysis.
  • Feasibility/technical due diligence experience valued
