Team Leader Electrical Engineer
Our client is seeking a senior electrical engineer to step into a leadership position within a respected, growing building services consultancy. The successful candidate will lead a close-knit team of specialists and oversee the delivery of a broad range of ptojects including commercial, residential, aged care etc.

EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Australian recognised)
- Minimum 5 years’ local experience, including 2+ in a senior/leadership role
- Experience in the Building Services sector across varied projects
- CPEng or working towards (required for design sign-off)
- Confident dealing with clients and leading project delivery
- Skilled in team mentoring, coaching, and workload management
- Strong communication and budget management skills
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team (intermediate and senior staff)
- Oversee project forecasting, resourcing, and team allocations
- Review and sign off on electrical designs and documentation
- Manage internal team meetings and monthly 1:1 check-ins
- Support project management of larger multidisciplinary jobs
- Act as a key client contact, ensuring smooth communication and delivery
