  • Senior Hydraulic Consultant – designed for experienced professionals (8–10+ years) who can lead projects end-to-end, manage stakeholders, and guide design teams.
  • Intermediate Hydraulic Consultant – suited to candidates with at least 3-5 years' experience and a plumbing or on-site background, looking to step into a more client-facing and design-led role.

Role Overview
As a Senior Hydraulic Consultant, you’ll be a key technical leader in the design team. You’ll lead projects from front-end engagement through to delivery, manage client relationships, and ensure technically sound, constructible designs. Candidates with a plumbing trade background and strong site experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead hydraulic design and documentation across major commercial and institutional projects.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.

  • Confident leading client meetings, resolving design issues, and managing project timelines.
  • Experienced in Revit and/or AutoCAD and BIM coordination workflows.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor, influence, and deliver results.

Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone with a plumbing trade background or significant on-site experience, who has transitioned into design consulting. You will take ownership of the hydraulic design process, liaise directly with clients, and support project delivery from initial brief to construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver detailed hydraulic and plumbing designs (sanitary, stormwater, trade waste, water supply, gas, etc.).
  • Interface directly with clients and project teams to understand requirements and present solutions.
  • Apply practical construction knowledge to improve buildability and reduce rework.
  • Attend site visits as required to support design development and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (structural, architectural, mechanical).
  • Contribute to project planning, tracking deliverables and deadlines.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in hydraulic design, with plumbing/site background preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of NCC, AS/NZS 3500 and related codes.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and documentation processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – confident engaging with clients and site teams.
  • Highly organised, capable of supporting multiple projects concurrently.
