The Role
The successful Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Project Manager and Site team to deliver new build projects ranging from $20M–$50M. You will be responsible for coordinating design, procurement, planning and site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with project planning, programming, and delivery coordination
- Managing and reviewing technical documentation and design coordination
- Preparing and monitoring procurement schedules and subcontractor packages
- Supporting cost control, quality assurance and reporting requirements
- Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain progress and compliance
- Ensuring safety, environmental and quality standards are met throughout all project stages
- Structured training and mentoring by experienced Project Managers

- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline
- Proven experience in a Project Engineer or similar role within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and programming
- Solid knowledge of design coordination and project documentation management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with construction software such as MS Project, Procore or similar
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a project team
- Commitment to safety, quality and delivering results
