We are recruiting a Senior PM or PM on behalf of a leading Newbuild & Fit-Out contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, civil, infrastructure projects up to $70 Million.

Construction Project Manager to lead high-value commercial and industrial projects from planning through to delivery. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex builds, drive team performance, and ensure exceptional quality, safety, and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Scheduling – Define project scope, methodology, and sequencing with clients and internal teams. Develop detailed construction programs covering staging, resources, and procurement schedules.
  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management – Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and consultants. Maintain strong engagement with clients, authorities, and service providers.
  • Quality & Safety Oversight – Implement QA/QC processes and enforce strict compliance with WHS standards, particularly in industrial and high-risk environments.
  • Financial & Contract Management – Manage budgets, variations, claims, and subcontract agreements to protect commercial outcomes.
  • Risk & Issue Management – Identify construction and stakeholder risks early, implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all works comply with Australian Standards, engineering specifications, and statutory requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree in Construction Management, or related discipline
  • 8–12+ years’ experience delivering commercial, and or industrial construction projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities
  • Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Aconex, or similar)
  • Thorough understanding of WHS legislation and modern construction methodologies
