The ideal candidate will have experience in social procurement. Familiarity with Supply Nation is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing projects across multiple indirect categories such as consulting, training, engineering services, audits, travel, and facilities management.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with both local and international suppliers, ensuring best value and risk mitigation.
- Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, proactively identifying needs and aligning procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing process including supplier scouting, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalisation.
- Support contract implementation and collaborate with the Tactical Procurement team on operational purchasing tasks.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and internal processes (OPEX, Sourcing Board).
- Drive cost savings and efficiencies through innovation, TCO analysis, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing processes, tools, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5 to 7 years’ experience with focus in procurement or sourcing, preferably across indirect categories.
- Strong contract negotiation skills and sound understanding of legal principles.
- Skilled communicator, with strong analytical capabilities.
- Hands-on, autonomous, and adaptable to working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, and social procurement.
