About the role:
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, dynamic team managing renewable energy assets—driving projects from concept to construction by securing land, permits, and grid approvals, overseeing design, contracts, budgets, and risks, and fostering strong partnerships with regulators, landholders, and communities to contribute to a sustainable future.
Responsibilities
- Securing land, permits, approvals, grid connection, and ensure strong community & stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee design, manage consultants, run tenders, and negotiate key contracts.
- Track costs, update assumptions, report on risks, and maximise project value.
- Manage relationships with landholders, regulators, JV partners, and community stakeholders.
- 7+ years’ hands-on experience in developing electricity projects within Australia’s energy sector.
- Strong background in commercial contract structuring, including EPCs, partnerships, and energy sale agreements.
- Knowledge of wind, solar, hydro, and storage projects highly regarded.
