Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical and timely legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory obligations, including environmental, health & safety, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws.
- Conduct investigations into potential compliance breaches and manage audits.
- Support the business with risk identification and mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and admitted to practice in NSW.
- 3–6 years post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial law, ideally with in-house exposure.
- Industry experience in energy, renewables, infrastructure, or other highly regulated sectors preferred.
- Experience in compliance program development, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Competitive package up to $180k base + super + bonus.
