Blade Technicians – MacIntyre Wind Farm
We’re looking for skilled and safety-focused Blade Technicians to join our team at MacIntyre Wind Farm (QLD). These roles offer the opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy projects while developing your technical skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out blade repair and maintenance tasks in line with project repair plans, under the guidance of the Site Lead and Composites Engineer.
  • Perform safe and efficient blade inspections, maintenance, and repairs using rope access or BAP systems (training provided).
  • Actively participate in site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily pre-start meetings.
  • Accurately complete reporting for both company and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, fellow technicians, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all safety, quality, and site standards.
  • Potential requirement to work across multiple sites
  
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Valid GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Blade Repair (BR) certification.
  • IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 (Level 3 highly desirable).
  • White Card, LVR/CPR, and Confined Space Entry (within 2 years).
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
  
Highly Regarded
  • Hands-on experience with Nordex, GE, Suzlon or Siemens turbines.
  • EWP ticket and High-Risk Work Licence.
  • Prior involvement in complex blade repairs.
