Key Responsibilities
- Carry out blade repair and maintenance tasks in line with project repair plans, under the guidance of the Site Lead and Composites Engineer.
- Perform safe and efficient blade inspections, maintenance, and repairs using rope access or BAP systems (training provided).
- Actively participate in site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily pre-start meetings.
- Accurately complete reporting for both company and client requirements.
- Collaborate with supervisors, fellow technicians, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain strict compliance with all safety, quality, and site standards.
- Potential requirement to work across multiple sites
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Valid GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Blade Repair (BR) certification.
- IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 (Level 3 highly desirable).
- White Card, LVR/CPR, and Confined Space Entry (within 2 years).
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
Highly Regarded
- Hands-on experience with Nordex, GE, Suzlon or Siemens turbines.
- EWP ticket and High-Risk Work Licence.
- Prior involvement in complex blade repairs.
