ACRWORLD are currently partnering with a leading property company to recruit a confident and capable Senior Accounts Payable Manager to join their high-performing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AP professional to step into a leadership role, manage a small team of two, and take full ownership of the accounts payable function in a business that's fast-moving, innovative, and well-respected in the property industry.

The Opportunity:
This is more than your standard AP role. Our client is looking for a proactive, solutions-focused leader who knows how to run a tight AP ship while driving efficiencies and improvements. You'll be working closely with the finance leadership team and liaising across the business, so strong communication skills and confidence are key.

You'll also need to hit the ground running, Jobpac experience is ideal, as it's integral to their processes, particularly around project and construction-related payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full ownership of the Accounts Payable function across multiple entities.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a small team of two AP Assistants.
  • Oversee weekly and monthly payment runs, invoice processing, and supplier reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, approval hierarchies and project coding.
  • Manage and maintain strong vendor relationships; handle escalations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement and operational teams to ensure correct allocations.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and system efficiencies.
  • Support the month-end close process and contribute to reporting and audit requirements.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a Senior Accounts Payable or AP leadership role.
  • Jobpac experience is essential however can be flexible on other similar construction led systems, Cheops or Procore. 
  • Background in property, construction or real estate sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Confident, assertive and able to work both strategically and hands-on.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach.
