The Role
They are now seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at their busy workshop facility in Llandilo, NSW. This is a key role ensuring the company’s fleet of piling rigs, pumps, excavators, and auxiliary equipment is maintained to the highest standard to support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily workshop operations, including servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Lead and mentor a team of workshop staff, creating a culture of accountability and safety.
- Oversee procurement of parts, consumables, and engagement with external service providers.
- Ensure plant and equipment compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Monitor plant utilisation, performance, and costs to support efficient project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices and equipment reliability.
- Previous experience as a Plant Manager, Workshop Manager, or similar role within piling, civil construction, or heavy equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge of piling rigs, hydraulic systems, pumps, and large construction plant.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a strong safety focus.
- Familiarity with equipment monitoring and diagnostic systems is an advantage.
