Its core focus is reinforced concrete structures, from residential slabs to complex retaining walls and infrastructure elements like drainage pits and culverts.
With a reputation for technical excellence and personalised service, it prides itself on tackling technically challenging projects, especially within subdivisions and large-scale residential developments.
As it continues to grow, we’re looking for motivated and experienced Structural Engineers to join our team at Intermediate Structural Engineer through to Principal Structural Engineer level.
About the Role
You’ll be working hands-on with a wide range of reinforced concrete structural projects, supporting major developers and civil contractors. Projects include residential building slabs, complex retaining wall systems, drainage structures, culverts, and pit designs for subdivisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete elements
- Producing design documentation and technical reports
- Coordinating with architects, civil engineers, drafters, and clients
- Site inspections and construction-phase support as required
- Mentoring junior engineers (senior roles)
About the Candidate
We're looking for engineers who are technically strong, practical, and proactive. You should thrive in a small-team environment and be comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders.
Essential skills & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3+ years (Intermediate) or 8+ years (Principal) of Australian engineering experience
- Extensive experience designing reinforced concrete structures
- Strong experience with residential slabs, drainage pits, culverts, and retaining walls
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., RAPT, ETABS, Space Gass, or similar)
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and local council requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Chartered status or working towards CPEng
- Experience working on subdivision infrastructure projects
