Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and secure new energy infrastructure opportunities aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners, clients, regulators, and market operators.
- Lead the preparation of bids, tenders, and investment proposals, particularly under PPP frameworks.
- Oversee negotiations on commercial agreements, risk allocation, and contract terms to support project feasibility.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, legal, financial, construction) to deliver winning solutions.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Electrical Engineering background is highly preferred.
- 8-15 years’ experience in investment, business development or commercial roles within the energy sector.
- Proven experience across PPPs, project finance, and large-scale project development from origination to financial close.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian electricity market, transmission infrastructure, and permitting processes.
- Experience engaging with TSOs/DSOs, regulatory bodies, and government stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Strong financial backing and commitment to expanding presence in the Australian energy sector.
