About the Company

ACRWORLD is proudly partnering with Everoze for the recruitment of 3 critical roles. Everoze is an employee-owned technical and commercial advisory, specialising in renewables, storage, hydrogen and wider energy flexibility. Originally set up in the UK in 2015, they now operate across the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Singapore and Australia.

About the Role

You will provide technical and commercial support for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and hybrid projects in Australia. You will advise developers, operators, lenders, and investors on due diligence, procurement, design, construction, commissioning, and strategic project support. While experience in BESS is highly valued, the role is also open to motivated candidates earlier in their careers (with some renewables experience) who are eager to grow into a specialist consultant.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical and commercial due diligence for BESS and hybrid projects, acting as both project manager and contributor.
  • Assess risks affecting project timelines, yields, and costs; propose mitigation strategies.
  • Review project elements including land securement, permits, environmental factors, design, grid connection, contracts, and timelines.
  • Provide construction and operational monitoring, including on-site inspections and testing.
  • Deliver owner’s engineering services and strategic advisory on development, procurement, and operations.
  • Advise on BESS equipment specifications, facility layout, capacity requirements, and performance guarantees.
  • Support procurement processes, contract negotiations, and resolution of technical issues during commissioning.
  • Manage multiple projects, budgets, and profitability while building strong client relationships.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and liaise with stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience

Essential:
  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar.
  • Ideally 3–5+ years’ experience in solar or energy storage projects, however motivated candidates with less experience will also be considered.
  • Strong technical knowledge of BESS equipment, design principles, and due diligence processes.
  • Ability to review renewable energy construction and operation contracts.
  • Familiarity with Australian market requirements (grid, land, permits, environmental, hybridisation).
  • Proven consultancy skills: clear reporting, client relationship management, and adaptability.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
Desirable:
  • Data analytics/coding (Python, Matlab, Java).
  • Experience in other renewable technologies (wind, hybridisation).
  • Owner’s engineering, construction monitoring, or asset management experience.
Benefits
  • Employee ownership – all staff have a pathway to becoming co-owners.
  • Meaningful work – influence major investment and policy decisions in the energy sector.
  • Diverse exposure – work with clients from global banks to community energy groups.
  • Fast-growing business – from 6 founders in 2015 to 80+ staff across 5 countries, including a growing Australian team.
  • Flat structure – ideas valued over hierarchy, with freedom and autonomy to shape your career.
  • Flexible working – balance work and life with part-time options and adaptable schedules.
  • Collaborative teams – cross-technology and cross-country project opportunities.
  • Mentorship – learn from experienced industry leaders and share your own insights.
  • No utilisation targets – focus on outcomes, not time tracking.
  • Entrepreneurial culture – pursue new business ideas with support and investment.
