Your new company
We are currently recruiting for a Contract Administrator to join a well-established builder specialising in education sector projects across Sydney’s North Shore.
This business delivers high-quality construction works across public and private school campuses  from new multi-storey buildings and learning centres to specialist refurbishments, libraries, and sports facilities. With a strong pipeline of projects already in delivery and more in planning, they offer a secure and long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
The company prides itself on a supportive team culture, clear systems and processes, and a track record of successful government and institutional project delivery.

Your new role
You’ll be joining the project team as a Contract Administrator, working closely with a Senior CA and Project Manager to manage contract and financial operations throughout the project lifecycle.
Projects are typically school upgrades, new builds, or staged works on live sites — ranging from $5M to $30M in value. You'll gain exposure to a fast-paced, structured environment with clear responsibilities and progression.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage subcontractor procurement, scopes, and letting
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts and supplier agreements
  • Track project costs and assist with monthly financial reporting
  • Administer variations, progress claims, and payment schedules
  • Maintain RFI registers and support project documentation workflows
  • Liaise with consultants, engineers, and key stakeholders
  • Contribute to overall program delivery with a focus on cost, compliance, and timeframes
Skills & experience:
  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator
  • Previous experience on government, institutional, or education-sector projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, cost control, and procurement
  • Familiarity with Aconex, Procore, or other industry-standard systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
What we offer:
  • Join a specialist builder with a strong reputation in the education sector
  • Secure work pipeline across Sydney’s North Shore
  • Long-term career progression with training and mentorship
  • Stable, team-focused working environment with clear project processes
  • Competitive salary package, negotiable based on experience
