About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Safety Advisor to join the team on-site, supporting the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality residential builds. Reporting to the Group Safety Manager, you will play a key role in implementing the company’s safety, quality, and environmental management systems and supporting a proactive safety culture across site teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain WHSQE systems and procedures, including Hammertech
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and WHSQE meetings
- Perform daily site walks, inspections, and risk assessments
- Review SWMS and ensure compliance across all site activities
- Manage incident investigations, reporting, and close-out of corrective actions
- Support Return to Work processes and act as site First Aider
- Maintain detailed and compliant records through the Hammertech system
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure legal compliance
- Foster a culture of safety, environmental awareness, and continuous improvement on site
- Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
- 2–5 years’ experience in a WHS role within residential construction
- Strong knowledge of WHS Act 2011 and SafeWork NSW compliance
- Familiarity with AS/NZS 45001 and construction site practices
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and educate others
- Competent with Microsoft Office and digital WHS platforms (e.g., Hammertech)
- Advanced First Aid certificate and valid White Card
