A growing Fire Protection business based in Greater Sydney have recently won a number of new service contracts and so are seeking an experienced Service Supervisor or Service Manager to manage their service division.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- FPAS Accredited (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) – Essential
- In-depth knowledge and working experience with AS 1851:2012 – Routine Service of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment
- Minimum 5–7 years experience in the fire services industry, ideally with prior management or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of essential fire safety measures, compliance requirements, and defect rectification processes
- Ability to manage and lead service technicians and subcontractors across multiple sites
- Proven experience with scheduling, service delivery, and contract management in fire protection
- Sound knowledge of wet and dry fire systems – including sprinkler, hydrant, fire detection and alarm systems
- Proficient in preparing and reviewing service reports, compliance documentation, and defect quotes
- Ability to liaise confidently with clients, builders, facility managers, and regulatory authorities
- Strong understanding of WHS regulations and site safety requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with service management software (e.g. Simpro or similar) – desirable
- Relevant trade qualifications or background in fire systems servicing/maintenance
