About the Role:
Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking a HSE Manager to ensure a safe and compliant environment across their project sites and offices. This is a hands-on role, supporting both strategic and day-to-day safety operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and manage WHS risks across sites and ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies
- Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Deliver safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Support emergency preparedness and crisis management planning
- Monitor contractor compliance and provide coaching where needed
- Maintain and improve WHS systems and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to address safety concerns
- Provide limited support with environmental and quality assurance matters
- Travel to project sites regularly to provide on-the-ground support
- 5+ years' experience in WHS advisory roles, ideally within construction or renewable energy
- An engineering degree or similar technical qualification (desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and best practices
- Experience with site audits, investigations, and safety reporting
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to build rapport with diverse site teams and contractors
- White Card and willingness to travel as needed
