About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Contracts Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the construction phase of renewable energy projects. This position involves managing the full scope of contract administration, including variations, extensions of time (EOTs), and claims. Acting as a trusted commercial advisor, you will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to drive timely resolution of issues and keep projects on track.
Responsibilities:
- Administer head contracts and construction subcontracts in accordance with contract terms, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Assess and manage contractor claims for extensions of time, variations, and other commercial issues. Provide clear recommendations and lead negotiations to resolution.
- Liaise with project, legal, and commercial teams to ensure timely and accurate contract management support.
- Prepare documentation to support internal approvals, board reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support contract close-out, lessons learned, and project handover processes
- Identify and manage contractual risks and support the project team in mitigating issues that may impact commercial outcomes or project delivery.
- Proven experience managing EOTs, variations, and contractual claims in complex construction projects.
- Strong negotiation and risk assessment skills.
- Strong working knowledge of renewable project contracts from EPC to suppliers agreements.
