About the Role:

Due to sustained growth and an expanding project portfolio, our client is seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Manager to join their team.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of the company’s HSE strategy and lead the ongoing development, implementation, and management of health, safety, and environmental systems across multiple sites. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation, standards, and client requirements.
  • Oversee the development, review, and continuous improvement of HSE management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors regarding HSE matters.
  • Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and audits; ensure timely reporting and close-out of corrective actions.
  • Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and inductions.
  • Collaborate with clients, project teams, and external stakeholders to ensure best-practice HSE outcomes.
To Be Successful:
  • Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or higher) 
  • Proven experience in a HSE management role within civil construction, piling, or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, ISO standards, and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and lead teams.
  • A practical, hands-on approach with a genuine passion for safety and continuous improvement.
