We’re looking for a commercially minded energy professional to join a high-performing team working on some of the most impactful clean energy projects in the country. Flexibility to work in Melbourne or Sydney, with outstanding career development pathways in a collaborative, flexible and dynamic environment.

About the role:
You will play a key role in delivering commercially meaningful work that creates an impact in the energy transition, including:
  • Advise leading renewable energy and battery developers on how to commercialise their projects – including revenue modelling, offtake strategies, and contract structuring.
  • Run end-to-end offtake processes – from go-to-market strategy through to final negotiation of binding agreements with major energy buyers.
  • Contribute to strategic client projects across power and carbon markets, with opportunities to shape advice delivered to C-suite stakeholders and investment committees.
  • Collaborate with experienced consultants and market experts to deliver impactful results while growing your own technical and commercial skill set.
  • Work across multiple fast-paced projects, developing core skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and commercial analysis.
  • At mid-senior level: Lead client relationships, originate new projects, and mentor junior team members while shaping the growth of the business.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance or related study.
  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in the Australian energy market (NEM and enviro/carbon markets experience).
  • Strong understanding of the NEM, and hands-on experience supporting renewable or battery storage projects through development and commercialisation.
  • Familiarity with offtake contracting, market risk, and revenue strategy.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work to deadlines in a client-facing environment.
  • Clear communicator with strong commercial instincts and stakeholder confidence.
  • Consulting, advisory or trading experience is regarded but not essential.
Benefits:
You’ll work with a team of market leaders, policy experts, and innovators committed to driving real decarbonisation impact. With strong pipeline of work and offices in Melbourne and Sydney, this leading energy business offers a rich learning environment and a purpose-driven culture that rewards initiative and results.
