In this role you will be responsible for leading maintenance, reliability, and facilities functions to ensure asset performance, plant reliability, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
- Manage CMMS systems and track maintenance KPIs (e.g. MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance).
- Apply reliability engineering tools including RCM, RCA, FMEA, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Oversee facilities infrastructure (HVAC, utilities, compressed air, lighting) and manage external service providers.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts strategy, and contractor performance.
- Deliver small-scale engineering and site improvement projects.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Lead, develop, and support maintenance teams including trades and apprentices.
- Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in maintenance or reliability within manufacturing/industrial settings.
- Trade or Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics).
- Strong knowledge of CMMS, asset management, and maintenance best practices.
- Proven track record in improving plant performance and reliability.
- Strong skills in problem-solving, RCA/FMEA, planning, and team development.
- Experience in food, pharma, or FMCG sectors.
- Certification in Reliability Engineering or Maintenance Management.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000 compliance.
