The Role
You’ll be based in Canberra and involved in both field and laboratory testing of soil, aggregates, and concrete – supporting projects critical to the region and beyond.
We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction materials testing (CMT) – or a keen interest in getting started
- Solid understanding of Australian standards (AS1289, AS1141, AS1012)
- Hands-on experience with tests such as Triaxials, Permeabilities, Aggregate and Rock Testing (desirable)
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and quality control
- Confidence working independently, prioritising tasks, and liaising directly with site personnel
- Physically fit and capable of handling a manual role (some heavy lifting involved)
- NATA signatory status and/or current NDM Radiation Licence (highly regarded)
- Manual driver’s licence (essential)
