Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed BOQ’s and variations
- Summarising scope of works and tenders
- Working with the delivery team to prepare proposals
- Preparing initial estimating assessments of tenders for tender shortlist review
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal procurement team to negotiate pricing
Skills Required
- 5+ years’ + experience as an Estimator within the construction industry. Ideally in Fitout & Refurbishment or within a reputable contractor.
- Degree qualified in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
- Experience Estimating on Commercial, Retail, Education, Government projects up to $5 Million +
- Advanced in CostX / Cubit or alike
- Strong communicator, financial acumen and attention to detail
