The Opportunity
We’re seeking both a Contract Administrator and Junior Contract Administrator to play integral roles on a flagship $300M high rise residential development located in North Sydney.
You'll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced Contract Manager, Director, Project Manager Site Managers, and Engineers—contributing to the delivery of a major project while developing your career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Administer and oversee construction contracts in line with project goals and compliance requirements.
- Cost Control: Manage budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to manage expectations, resolve disputes, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records including variations, progress claims, and contract correspondence.
- Tender Process: Assist with the preparation, issuing, and evaluation of tender documents.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the broader delivery team to ensure timely and efficient contract administration.
Contract Administrator
- Minimum 5+ years of construction experience
- Strong background on large-scale mid-tier commercial & class 2 residential projects
- Proven leadership in contract management, budget oversight, and subcontractor negotiations
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Solid understanding of contracts, project financials, and construction methodology
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in project management software such as Jobpac or Cheops
