The Company
Our client is a highly regarded residential builder with a strong track record delivering boutique multi-storey apartment projects across Sydney. Known for their quality workmanship, supportive culture and steady pipeline of work, they are now seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join their team on a high-end residential developments in Eastern Suburbs. 

Position Overview
With their latest luxury apartment project now ramping up, there is an immediate opportunity for a capable Leading Hand to support site operations, coordinate trades and assist the Site Manager to drive daily progress.
This role would suit someone who has strong finishes and structural knowledge, takes pride in workmanship, and thrives in a well-structured, fast-paced residential environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Site Manager with day-to-day site coordination
  • Oversee trades and ensure work is completed to program
  • Assist with finishes sequencing, quality checks and defect management
  • Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas
  • Monitor site safety and enforce OH&S standards
  • Review drawings and ensure works align with plans and specifications
  • Liaise with subcontractors and help resolve onsite issues quickly
What You Bring
  • Trade qualification (preferably Carpentry)
  • Experience as a Leading Hand or experienced Carpenter on apartment projects
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction
  • Ability to supervise subcontractors and maintain site momentum
  • Eye for detail and understanding of high-end finishes
  • Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
